Where we've been ....

Grand National Roadster Show - January 27-29, 2012, Pomona, California. With over 600 cars displayed in 7 buildings along with hundreds of cars that cruised in for the outdoor show, the Grand National Roadster show is definitely one of the best in the country. Hot August Nights - August, 2011 - We took the LaSalle to the annual Hot August Nights event. The car drew lots of attention and made the finals at the Nugget, the Peppermill and the El Dorado. We won Best of Show at the Atlantis. It was a great trip!

Goodguys Chicago - August, 2011 - This is the '55 Chevy we recently fabricated a cold air intake for. It just won a Builder's Choice at Goodguys in Chicago. We are happy to have played a part in the success of this car.

Meet the Dominator Team:

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the Dominator Crew enjoying an “In n Out Burger” Lunch at the shop! Hey, they work hard so they deserve a good burger!
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Leonard Lopez is the founder and owner of Dominator. In addition to his recent Builder of the Year Award at the Grand National Roadster Show, he was inducted into the GNRS Hall of Fame in 2011. Dominator has been featured on "Rides" and in numerous national publications. Cars built by the shop are consistently national show winners as well as being great drivers. Leonard's background in race car construction has made him a recognized expert in building high horsepower street rods and custom cars that handle impeccably. Nothing leaves the Dominator shop without Leonard insuring its quality.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Ron Morlan cut his mechanic's teeth on his dad's Winston West race car. He also built his own Mustang race car called "Crazy Horse." Ron has worked on Top Gas Dragsters and Blown Alchohol Funny Cars. His background also includes extensive experience as a line mechanic at a local Chevrolet dealership. He is an expert at all aspects of mechanics and wiring.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Paul Blatt has extensive experience as a builder of subtle and beautiful street rods and custom cars. His body work has been featured on award winning cars throughout the country. Paul prides himself in creating cars that are like perfect diamonds with every facet cut and polished so they contribute to the overall beauty of his creations.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Craig Watts has worked for Dominator part time for 20 years as lead fabricator. He can make almost anything from metal. His creativity and attention to detail are remarkable resulting in parts that are functional and beautiful. Craig was featured on" Rides" during the Dominator feature on TLC and in 18 episodes of "Overhauling."
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tyler Jones is one of Dominator's accomplished fabricators. His concentrates on the suspension and chassis construction but can handle just about anything around the shop.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Mike Martin is responsible for body work and paint at Dominator. He has extensive experience in the hot rod and automotive industry.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Mac Bernd handles marking, promotion and administrative duties for Dominator. He divides his time between his home in Texas and the shop in Tracy. He also travels to shows around the country - be sure to look for him and stop and say hello if you see him.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Gina Lopez operates the Dominator office and keeps things flowing as well as running a household with two active teenagers and a collection of horses and other animals. Chances are your phone call to Dominator will ring Gina up.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Oliver is the apple of Gina's eye as he stands guard over the Dominator office.
